The consistently elusive three wins in a row is up for grabs against the drizzle this weekend!

In a weird way I'm a little less concerned about this game than the games against the sharks and dragons. Yes its likely we lose if the storm is switched on playing at home. The reason they make me a little less nervous is their attack is very structured, and I feel like on a good day our defense can hold up. You don't have the erratic attack with big bodies in motion running willy nilly that you can have against the Dragons and Sharks with second phase play and big centres and second rowers. We just need to be switched on and out work them. I think they are beatable, it does not help they are coming off a close loss and playing at home as they will be primed by Bellamy and will come out firing. I'm not writing us off.

If we defend like we did on Saturday, then we'll cop a hiding.

If we turn up like the Sharks game, then we can make it interesting.

Hopefully Toa is back.

I think we can be competitive but I expect a loss especially if Grant returns. The Storm not great at present and out wide can be found out but would anyone be shocked if they did turn it on and ran up a score? I wouldn’t. I’ve thought all along they’ll be premiers this year and a few so so results hasn’t changed my mind. But I like the fact we have some continuity in our side and we’ll go down there in good spirits ready to play.

Many people thought we had no chance against Cronulla as well.

I would like to think To’a is back for this game. Also would be selecting Bird in the 18 and bringing another forward in, maybe Kit.

Geez I hope Tyrell May and the rest of the team stick it to Stefano. Not saying I want them to physically hurt him, more that I want them to significantly outplay him and the rest of the storm pack. Everyone was talking up the Storm now that they have stefano...well he has been very ordinary and almost singlehandedly lost them that game against Canberra. I don't want this game to be the one where he finds his form....as seems to be the case with all ex-players that come up against us.

I think it will give our guys a bit of added motivation won’t it. I mean, Stefano didn’t think we’d be good enough for him so he left, it doesn’t say a much for our guys does it. I’m sure he’ll want to play well but there’s some blokes in our pack who should want to prove to him he made the wrong call.

I thought Sharks would win but did say to you at the game I thought it’d be close which it was. I didn’t give us no chance but expected them to win. I expect Storm to win as well but if any team is going to put a score in any other team it’s the Storm and Broncos imo. I don’t think that’ll happen but it wouldn’t shock either. A Tigers win would shock me.

I think Kit failed an HIA last week?

Naden worries me, surely Faataape will be in for naden at centre....Faataape does not fill me with confidence either, however Nadens defence at centre was woeful. I would not be against giving Mason or Feledy another crack TBH. All have been named in the extended team.

I think at full strength, our best 17 or 18, we can compete with any team in the comp but it only takes one or two or three of these top 18 to be missing to test our depth. I think most, if not all, teams this season struggle for depth past that top 20-22 players. I think with 2 of Star, Skelton or Latu we'd be a better than fair chance of winning down there but as it is this is a game where I am hopeful rather than anything else.
