Turns out if you put twin carburettors and mags on a 1994 Commodore, it’s still a 1994 Commodore.
It seemed like Luai believed all the Galvin hype and gave him lots of ball in attacking positions. For not much dividend.
Of the supposed game-changers, Ponga outperformed Luai.
Twal and Doeuihi are plodders, at best.
One word LATU has the spark and runs straight not lumbering across the field not passing and 90% crap grubbers . Should have went with Latu not two 9’s . Galvin thinks he is still playing park footy it’s a team sport !
My one word is Tactics: Score a beautiful 1st try by running from side to side and drawing the defence. Then we put that tactic away and tried to bash them up the middle. Should have won by 20+
My one word is ‘ENGRAINED’ doesn’t matter who’s in our 17… season over for mine !!
Team boot camp means nothing
One word: shape - Absolutely and utterly useless in attack especially that 2nd half, all we ever did was one out carries and then a terrible kick on 5th.
Don't even need one word, one letter only: D
60 odd missed tackles is an embarrassing effort for a supposed first grade side. We were lucky it was only 10 pts.
A lot of other issues too, some of which will only be fixed with time and/or personnel coming back.
One word. Structure. Or more accurately lack of. Luai and Galvin look very clunky. Massively disappointing because there was half a dozen opportunities to win that game. Gutted
Deceptive
the score was deceptive
the knights should have won by 20+
tigers don’t have a forward or back that can consistently dominate a game (maybe API)

I agree on the most part, but bit harsh on AD and Twal. For a game where we missed 60 tackles, AD and Twal missed 1 between them. Faatape looked far more vulnerable in defence. But I agree, Galvins game was very disappointing.

I thought both of mays stints were strong
Positives
May was outstanding effort on effort.
Skelton strong carries looked dangerous with ball.
Samuel’s Fainu looked damaging on edge
Disappointments
Secound half kick chase way to many missed tackles
Poor kicking grubbers, Bombs to deep and not contested.
Attack was all one out off the cuff. To many setup plays for nothing. Need to stretch the defensive line from sideline to sideline. Lack of second phase ball.
One word
Ambiguous
