It’s Time For Change

Welcome to another episode of the Wests Tigers Podcast, this one is a little different. Garry Watson is joined by Steve Stretton as they open the pod to Wests Tigers Fans to voice their opinions on the current direction and the future of this club.

Special Guests, Jordan, Matt, Aiden and Tim chat to the boys about the current petition, that has been setup by the Wests Tigers Podcast team, to push for the Wests Tigers organisation being subjected to a thorough external review, encompassing all aspects of the organisation.

The fans discuss their current engagement and attitude towards the club, where they believe the fault should be directed and how we can get out of the mess the club finds itself in. They provide a passionate and clear message to the club and its leaders that needs to be heard by the board as the moral of the fanbase hits an all-time low.

The Episode also include submissions from Shane and Ben who also call for change.

You can make your voice heard by signing the petition https://www.petitions.net/external_review_of_wests_tigers_operations#form

The Wests Tigers Podcast will return later in the week with our regular game preview pod, previewing Friday night’s trip to the Hunter to take on the Newcastle Knights.

  1. Thanks for this podcast episode. Seems that you definitely attract a more thoughtful and earnest listeners who have revealed their hurt and provided valuable feedback. Unfortunately the more radical finger pointers will probably not support your efforts on our behalf, in the numbers required. My personal disatifaction with the Club goes beyond the playing results. Six of us dropped our long term membership 3 seasons ago due to the way we were treated by the Admin over our seats being sold to Sharks supporters on the final game of the year at Leichhardt. Basically we were told it was up to us to resolve the situation on the day and was of zero concern to the Club. They had always been less than competent but this was beyond the Pale. I was told that I was lying about the ticket sales – yet I saw the tickets held by the Sharkies supporters. The egos and arrogance of the Wests Boards will not be influenced easily.
