Joel and Eddie get stuck in with Wests Tigers Podcast Number Eight after the All Stars game and some NRL trial matches registered the return of Rugby League in 2019.

In Part One the boys discuss the appointment of Moses Mbye as the club’s stand-alone captain and whether this is a surprise, as well as whether the appointment of Moses is a positive or negative.

We also talk about the rest of the leadership and how Wests Tigers Head Coach Michael Maguire might have come to this decision.

Also on this week’s podcast a discussion about club culture, whether missing out on Laurie Daley as a coaching consultant was a good or bad thing, and a look ahead to a potential trial team to play the Warriors.

In Part Two the boys discuss some questions and topics from the new-look Wests Tigers Forum, including some of the best and worst NRL rule changes over the past decade.

Plus we touch on the Wests Tigers having the oldest roster in the NRL heading into 2019 and ask, is this a positive or negative?

Finally, the boys look at some of the best and worst halves pairings heading into 2019 as well as a blast from the past as we look back at the careers of two former Wests Tigers players in Luke Covell and Luke O’Donnell.

Benji and Robbie should have hung up the boots imo, I also think Elijah Taylor is past it.

    • Yes, fascinating to see how it all plays out. Then of course we need to be careful about losing too much experience for 2020.
