Yes just one year, my guess is they view him as a fullback option but aren't convinced on him in that role.

Yep to me it looks like Parra have gone all in on Brown, that sort of desperation looks to me like they have lost their other option.

I don't know that the transfer fee will be paid by someone outside the club but the positive is it is not included in the salary cap.
