Set restarts= zero scrutiny of referees decision.
With zero scrutiny half the time I feel they are just given so as both sides get about the same number by the end of the match.
But six again at certain moments can mean everything yet in other situations be no real benefit.
Equal set restarts on the stat sheet does not mean even officiating, discuss?
Ive got to see how I go with family commitments but hopefully can call in.

It certainly feels like we are, but that seems like too big a conspiracy. If I had to guess, it’s a mix of horrible luck combined with not having a vocal captain in the refs ear constantly. I heard on the commentary this weekend after one of the tries that Daly cherry evans spent a good period of time chatting to the ref on the way back to the halfway line. That constant questioning must play on a refs mind and influence future decisions. As for the bunker though… 🤯

I doubt it's a conscious bias but I can think of 5 tries which were poorly handed by bunker:
Lucy put down not reviewed
Peachy put down overturned
Kelma put down overturned
Jock try overturned bc kenny offside
And there was another where centre passed to winger but called knock on?
They are all game changing decisions
On top of that we've had how many 10mins?
- 2 (or 3?) Peachy 10 mins,
another for being offside on the line - was in Tamou or someone similar?
plus Ute on the weekend
And maybe another one
At least 4 in 9 games

We are playing more than just effort.
We are playing with effort on effort. Something I've very really seen a WT do.
We've defended well all year avergaibg less than 22 points conceded a game (down from around 30 last year)
Since Hastings has returned at 7 we've attacked much better averaging 18 points a game
Compared to 8.4 points a game in the 5 weeks prior
We scored 22 points with a makeshift back 5 and Lucy missing.
We are batteling courageously with half our top 17 out.
Let's support the team.
We'll have a better judge once we get our full squad back later this year.

We can definitely still make the top 8 this year
When AD and Laurie are back in this team we can make a run in the second half of this season
