I really hope Nado can still get himself another contract post Tigers whether in the NRL or UK as he has a young family & I’m not sure what other areas he could venture into. He showed in Cup he still has the talent. I think he could really be a handy outside back in the UK but doubt he’d want to uproot his family and leave Aus’.
The guy is full of talent, I really like what he brings to a team. the mental lapses just let him down too often.

Yes, in the NRL a problem but not so much in the Super League. I think he’d be a very handy pick up for a team over there & he could play another 4 or 5 years. If he was to pick up something here after the Tigers it’d be as a squad player for a year or two.I really hope Nado can still get himself another contract post Tigers whether in the NRL or UK as he has a young family & I’m not sure what other areas he could venture into. I don't see him going to the UK

Great comment. Do you think, while "we don't provide that yet", that it can happen (soon, would be nice) with Marshall and co? How likely is that?I find it really hard to dismiss Naden. I see glimpses of excellence but sadly it's broken up by moments of madness
But I agree re coaching. I look forward to the day when our culture, our coaching, our systems can bring out the best in our players rather than relying solely on a saviour to come in and drag everyone out of mediocrity.
Naden needs a culture of excellence around him. We don't provide that yet. But that doesn't excuse him of responsibility. Just makes it harder
I say this on the pod all the time - it's not down to one thing, it's a combination imo. Benji can't change the culture on his own, neither can Luai. The whole club needs to shift. Benji says the right things but I'm not sure he has the experience to orchestrate the changes required - but I don't know the bloke so really can't say with any confidence. What i do know though is standards are poor across the organisation. They are making changes but need to work together if the changes are to take effect.
I think we don’t realise how big a job that is & how long it will take. It certainly wasn’t going to happen in the space of 12 months once Richo was appointed. But we all want change quickly so it’s difficult to be patient.Great comment. Do you think, while "we don't provide that yet", that it can happen (soon, would be nice) with Marshall and co? Fair enough but I don't listen to the pod regularly so I missed your comments. And, so, I'll ask another question of your post; what would we see if the whole club "shifted" and who among them at the moment can make that happen?Great comment. I reckon the biggest thing we'd see would be an organisation that no longer accepts a 'near enough' mentality. Everything done is done with excellence in mind. There are no errors in marketing/communication. The organisation responds effectively to concerns. The Board is united, setting an example. Everyone is focussed on the same thing - being the best. No infighting. We start winning. Fewer recruitment mistakes. We bring the best out of our playing group.
As far as who - well I'd hope Richo would lead that. Getting stuck into players laughing etc during the eels debacle was what I'd expect of the CEO. Benji needs to be part of it - not sure he's experienced enough though. But really everyone needs to buy in and lift standards. New management that I've met seem to have these standards

Yep, all of that makes sense and is needed. I don't know how its achieved though. I think a lot of it comes from the success of the NRL team though, if we can somehow fluke that, and the mob above it can take credit for it, even though they may have had very little to do with it.
I am far from convinced about Marshall's coaching ability and Richardson says a lot but who's taking him seriously these days? Not even himself it seems, presenting as he does looking like a caveman in an ill-fitting suit. There's a helluva way to go I'm afraid.

yep - winning changes everything but to win consistently in the peak footy comp in the world, your standards and processes must be top notch.
I agree re Richo. Happy to give him more time. He has all the experience and seems confident in getting the job done. Problem with talking yourself up is you look silly if you don't deliver. Let's hope he delivers.
I think there is another episode needed.
C'mon boys dont let us down!!
