In regards to Lachie I agree with Nick, it’s great to see him back himself and play what he sees & he sees things others might not. They don’t always come off but the more he plays the better he’ll get obviously. But something I don’t hear or read much is this kid’s ability to react in defence especially. He reads the opposition better than many experienced players & reacts quicker to an opposition break etc. Go back and watch the games if you can and look at him in the line when the opposition attacks. Maybe it’s his fitness or maybe it’s because his peripheral vision is better than most, I don’t know but he’s special. He might not always make the right decision but that’s understandable. He’s great to watch.

Lachie is doing great things and considering his age I do really believe he will be a 300+ game player and a gun. I love that he backs himself and that he wants to win and wants to be there for the clutch plays. I also really love what Latu has shown the past 2 weeks, especially his ability to straighten the attack and dig into the line which really offers us the ability to run those shapes that open up the edges. That said we missed Luai’s swagger and leadership when things got a little tough early in the second half. With Luai fit I don’t think you can leave Latu out of the squad. Sione showed he is not just making up the number and he has a role to play with more  minutes. The broncos clearly had a plan to pressure our young guns when Api went off and it worked a treat. With Luai back that is less of a risk going forward but I would say that we need to get that balance right around who and when we use our bench. I want to see Latu come on and play 13 around that 30min mark, the question is whether you can play both Latu and TDS in the middle? Perhaps we should give Sione that lock role when TDs comes on to keep some size in the middle and the bring Latu on after 10/15min of the second half when Api comes back on to play in the first receiver role as the game opens up.

I think with Galven is for him to do the basics well and the brilliance will follow. One thing he could improve on is his backing up and hole running. But I’m happy with his games to date and he’s maturing with games under his belt.
Doueihi didn’t look out of place in the halves either. If Jerome plays origin I’d be playing Adam @7.

I must say Nick deserves a pat on the back for his closes to pods recently. Continually leaves a smile on my face. 👍
