Except for Talau, who should not be in the 17 IMO, everyone else was very close to getting points.

100% Talau was the only one not in my thinking for points.

That’s his standard. Looks okay in a poor team, looks poor in a good team.

This is the hardest vote I have ever had to complete, I just can't leave some of these guys out of my vote.

The hard thing for me is there was probably at least 6 players that played their best ever game for us last night.

will be interesting voting results for this round, as others have said apart from talau you could make a case for every other player

I went with the xfactor players because that's what we've been missing and we need them to score points and win games

The forwards have been incredible all year

It was hard to leave the halves out

Top 8 2023

As good as Brooks was tonight, and he was very good, I thought some others were slightly ahead.
T’oa - out beasted Holmes

Bula - chimes in, skilful hands (you can see the basketball skills), defends well, has speed and is always lurking for an opportunity.

Klemmer - Absolutely drove the Cowboys backwards both in attack and defence.

Except for Talau, who should not be in the 17 IMO, everyone else was very close to getting points.

I agree with you about Talau but thought it strange that Sheens singled him out for praise in the presser. I m worried Tim has a new favourite project.

Tim loves Tommy.

It‘S weird that he pulled him off for AJ. Bench rotation has seemed unbalanced

What position was Simpkin playing when he came on? Api was still on and so we’re both the halves, so I assume it was in a lock role? He ran a few decoy runs but wasn’t too involved (not his fault though)

They were going to take Api off but he said no and Twal came off instead.

Yeah rotation was poor. Api looked exhausted half way through the 2nd half as well.

Went with:

3 To'a

2 Bula

1 Koroisau

Legit about 6-7 others I feel bad about ignoring.

Tim loves Tommy.

I can’t see why. Tommy missed a couple of opportunities last week to put his winger away and last night Junior makes a break, looks to his outside and no Tommy. Tommy was metres behind. I noticed Tommy and Junior swapping positions last night, Timmy may just be running out of patience.
