When will Rua Ngatikaura debut?

Rua has been added to the Wests Tigers ‘Teams’ page on the official website.

Anyone know his contract status? Is he on a development contract or top 30?

is he a chance at a debut in the near future? How’s been going in NSW Cup?

I hope he’s locked up and on more than a 2022 deal.

I don't think he is, he is currently in the NSW Cup squad but I have a feeling he may be upgraded to a top 30 spot around the middle of the year.

We really need someone with Rua's energy and competitiveness.

If we are going to sign him up to top 30 mid year, let's just do it now, so we have the ability to bring him in. I think hes good to score or set up a try a game.

Start peachy at 13

Rua at 14 - come in to play lock and hooker as needed.

Joffa, Musgrove & Seyfarth on bench

I think they will keep the spot open in case someone becomes available and then if no one does then upgrade Rua. Just my opinion though.

I think Maguire likes Joffa starting at 13 then moving to the middle later in game. I really like the role he is playing this year. One of our most consistent this far I reckon. I get your thinking but I can’t see much changing unless Hastings moves to 13 of course
