Feel so happy for the girls and for the club. The Wests Matts winning the Premiership and now the Harvey Norman women. Was a terrific game to watch and have to admit I was jumping up and down for joy when Emily potted that field goal. Tigers!!!!!

What an amazing game of footy, sat behind Jess Sergis' mum. The girls played with all heart. A conversion at the end of extra time to send it to golden point and then a field goal to win the premiership.

A big thumbs down to the self professed Wests Tigers influencer who needed to push between my 9 year old daughter and Jess Sergis so he could get his interaction first

What a fantastic result! I was on the road at the time, is there somewhere that I can watch a replay?

I was listening to ABC radio and was disappointed there was no coverage except for some score updates, they didn’t even have someone at the ground to give any commentary around the game. This was a real slap in the face IMO, seems like there was even somewhat of a mindset against supporting this match.

When questioned about it by a listener, Andrew Moore was quite dismissive and cited that the scheduling clashed (partly) with the NRL fixture they were broadcasting at. Even his tone of reply seemed out of character…

Anyway, congratulations to the women’s West’s Tigers team and if someone can link me to a reply I would really appreciate it.
