Im 72 and I have evolved into a Wests Tigers Fan.Not Wests or Balmain. To the blokes running this petition, put the foot on the accelerator and run over any bastard that get in the way of the objective.

Ohh, sorry. This was going to happen anyway? Presumably because the current HBG mob had not implemented the review's recommendations? The fact that stories appeared in the media had nothing to do with this strategy?Despite signing and sharing the petition, and agreeing with much of what @helmesy just posted, I think we're jumping at shadows a bit.
Chammas (a Marshall preferred "journo" .... if he can be called that) and The Mole have their own agendas and needs for relevance. Strategising on the basis of what they have written carries a level of risk; not for HBG or the future of the joint-venture, but for us as fans, members, and agitators.
And, none of this will matter at all if WT have a significantly better season in 2025, as they should, if Marshall et al can coach, given the recruitment that's taken place.
Our actions weren't brought about because of the media reports.
I will also state that the club is in a much better position than 12 months ago, this is through the changes that were made at the end of 2023. If we want long term success then the changes need to implemented in full.

@helmesy do you know if there is any appeal process or some external process to pursue (similar to unfair dismissal or bringing theirs names into disrepute etc)
Wests Tigers owners ban long-term director for eight years as board members learn fate
Three board members at the owners of the Wests Tigers have been sensationally suspended with one long-term director banned for eight years as legal retaliation is set to engulf the club.
Three board members at the owners of the Wests Tigers have been sensationally suspended with one long-term director banned for eight years.
It can be revealed that Rick Wayde, Tony Andreacchio and David Gilbert were told of their fate on New Year’s Eve by the Holman Barnes Group with their bans now formalised after they were suspended in November.
Wayde has been banned for eight years, Andreacchio (six) whilst Gilbert has a six-month suspension.
It is understood the trio are now exploring their legal rights and are expected to challenge the decision.
“The penalties are ridiculous,” Wayde said. “It indicates from November 6 from when they issued the notice that their preconceived view was that we were guilty. They wanted to come up with that finding.

“The reason it has taken so long is there are many flaws in their procedures.”
The trio were first sanctioned in November where they were banned from entering “the club’s bars, restaurants, gyms, archives and carpark across all three Holman Barnes Group venues”.
The board members have been at loggerheads since a review into the Wests Tigers last year. Andreacchio was the chair of the Holman Barnes Group but was overthrown by Julie Romero in March and led to a balance of power shift amongst the owners of the Tigers.
The Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority may be brought in to stop the bitter dispute now engulfing the warring parties.

Turkeys don’t vote for Christmas. These turkeys will be harder to extract this time around as they are clearly going scorched earth judging by these long term expulsions of sitting board members that disagreed with the dominant magpies faction. I actually think they will be impervious to outside pressure only given their special status as debenture holders. They will just recite platitudes about “being true to the review” and work behind the scenes. They need to be physically removed from the board for anything to change
