Interesting that he sees Latu as a first grader round 1 next year

We need him to be ready too I reckon.

Considering he’s only half signed who will be fit for round 1 I’d say he’s got the gig

The only one that I hadn't heard about already was Solomon Alaimalo

It was interesting that naden got the players player award for nsw cup. Obviously a popular personality and has the talent. We might not have seen the last of him. At the very least he might be of interest to other clubs.

congrats to him and the rest of the winners

I imagine it wasn't compulsory for players to turn up to the club awards night? I saw Insta pics of Adam Doueihi on holidays in Dubai and other spots over the last few days. Maybe he went OS after showing his commitment to and support of the club and his team mates by his attendance at the awards night?

There were a sprinkling of players there. I saw Klem, Api, Sam Fainu. There were plenty more - lots of young players. Benji and Heigno were there. All the admin staff.

Definitely not compulsory but I think if you're going to have a night like this the players should be there unless on rep duty. It's all about culture

@tigersteve Oh, ok. Thanks for clearing that up. Personally, I steer clear of using the word "culture" because we all have different views on what it means. I'm pleased that AD was not the only one not in attendance so I won't let it add to my not so positive thoughts about him and his value and worth to the team.

I would suggest the awards night was held too long after the season ended.

There absolutely is an expectation of players turning up to awards night. Every local footy, soccer, cricket club that I’ve ever come across puts a high value on community and club culture. There’s always an expectation that you pop the awards night in the calendar. My wife played one game of soccer this year, broke her foot, has been in a moonboot since May, yet is going to her club presentation tonight.

Kind of like the work Xmas party. Pain in the ass to go to, but you make the effort for the staff and office culture. It blows my mind that players feel it’s okay that they can skip it. Prime example of poor culture in my opinion.
