Hi all,

I just thought I would create a thread where you might able to leave some feedback, thoughts etc on fan-made Wests Tigers media.

So, this is a spot for you to leave feedback and tell us about your listening, viewing, posting and reading habits.

For example, do you listen to all our podcasts? Some? Rarely? Never?

Do you watch or listen to the other WT pods? If so, which ones and how often?

Do you visit this forum and the WTF? If so, is there anything we could be doing better or different?

What changes do you think could be implemented to make WT fan-made media and platforms better? Should there be more content? More video? More podcasts (such as shorter daily episodes?).

What should be on these podcasts? Opinion? News? Quizzes and trivia? Etc.

Any ideas are welcome.

Thanks in advance.

Joel

I listen to all of your podcasts except for the NRLW ones, as I don't follow NRLW.

I always listen to Wests Tigers Faithful, sometimes Tiger Town, and recently Wests Tigers Life when they have Adel on.

I visit the WTF and here. I mostly read there and post here as I find this place to be a bit more respectful. 99% of the people there are okay, but there are a few who sometimes ruin the atmosphere. This place is great, but it is very quiet due to the number of participants and you guys saving the chatter for the pod rather than the forum.

I actually think that we are being saturated with pods. I like certain aspects from each, and it would be better to condense them, but I know that that won't happen as all the podcast groups like to do it their own way. Which is fair enough.

One suggestion: clearly the pod guys discuss issues on a group chat. Maybe they could be encouraged to post here more and interact with the members and listeners through the forum.

I listen to all the podcast episodes on this site. I have recently begun listening to Adel on WTL but I think he sounds scarily like Richo (is that just me?).

I also read everything on this forum and comment when motivated to do so, but that is about all. I do agree that is is a mostly safe and respectful place to express opinions or ideas.

Thanks to the team for all the input and entertainment.

Are you happy with audio-only pods? How interested in a video format would you be?

Not at all interested in video, don’t have the time. Much easier and more opportunities to just listen, usually while doing something else. But that’s just my opinion.

I agree with Mike. I listen while walking most of the time and so audio is all I need.

Listen to this pod and Wests Tigers Faithful.

Usually avoid the general NRL pods outside of Fire Up!

Footy Talk with Adam Peacock and Chammas etc. used to be good, but can't handle Weidler. The Fox & MMM coverage is just so tabloidy that it's not worth dealing with.

@joel I'm finally getting to give a reply to this.

This forum is my go-to for interaction. I do drop into the other forum occasionally to see if there is anything worth reading but the amount of rubbish that needs to be waded through is a turn off.

The Forum Pod is also a must-listen for me. I like the maturity around the chat and topics; you guys do a good job! Also listen to Wests Tigers Life because of coach Adel, who is a huge drawcard. The collabs lately have been excellent.

Also tune into every Wests Tigers Faithful but don't always listen to it all, they have been tough going lately when we weren't winning (maybe it's just because I'm a lot older than them but it has turned into absolute drivel lately). So sometimes I'll start fast forwarding until I get to their reports on lower grades which is always interesting, and I like to hear their opinions of those. The fast forward button is my friend!

One point I'd like to make is audio quality... I don't usually watch the YouTube versions just listen on Spotify, generally when I am driving. My bugbear on ALL these podcasts is the inconsistent audio quality AND VOLUMES of the different mic's makes listening pretty painful (also dealing with road noise). Volume down for intro's, volume way up for some of the speakers, back to the middle volume for other speakers. Some are clear as a bell, others sound like they are wearing a muffler.

Surely in 2025 this can be better!!

I do dabble with some of the other podcasts but am not a regular listener to any of them.

I do check Twitter every day and reckon you guys should have a presence there.

What did you think of the audio quality of the pod Eddie and I did with Rob and Adel on Sunday?
