Does this mean Api is expected to play 80 minutes?
This could be an indication that AD and Brooks may not be in the clubs longterm plans
In hindsight a no brainer. First guy picked, touches the ball the most, on the field for most if not all the game, 3 time premiership winner, demands respect.
Only until Mitch comes next year
I’m looking at this a little curiously, as the speech I just head from Api, I’ve heard before. Two times to be precise, however 3rd times the charm yeah 🤷♂️.
I'm ok with the decision, but it dies highlight how bad our leadership has been at this club for years. Third time now a new signing comes in and gets the captaincy.
Have to start somewhere though, so hopefully there will be an obvious successor from within when Api finishes.
Doubt it. There are other leaders in the team who will have input during games. Api will be the go to man whilst out there.Does this mean Api is expected to play 80 minutes?
At a recent function at Concord where members got to mingle with players it was Api who led the group into the function room. It’s a small thing but was something I noticed at the time. It’s the kind of stuff I like to see from leaders.
Only choice IMO no one else has the runs on the board.. Brooks has to worry about Brooks .. AD has to STOP worrying about AD talk is cheap ! Was impressed with Joffa last season and his leadership at times . Well there it is all lined up for 2023 except for JB who knows where he is that will happen I suspect.
Well done Api do us proud !
Api will do a good job, has been around a long time and has heaps of experience. I’m just surprised they went with a new recruit, especially after the Tamou experience.
