Wests Tigers prop Alex Twal will sit out the remainder of the season as he continues his recovery from concussion.
Twal has not played since suffering a head knock in Round 15 against the Bulldogs and will see another concussion specialist in August.
“Alex has recovered very well from his latest concussion and is back running but this latest concussion is his third this season (including pre-season) and following advice given by concussion specialists, the club will be taking a conservative approach and believe it’s in Alex’s best interest to miss the remainder of this season," said Tigers chief medical officer Dr Peter Lorentzos.

Tough break and we will feel it, especially after letting LL & Mikaele go, but no point risking him in our current situation. Gives Pole and Matamua the opportunity I guess.
Twal is a locked in option under the Sheens regime I can only imagine.

Our odds for the spoon just shortened.
Going back to that tragic, and now season ending incident,I thought Burton pretty well head slammed Twally, even though it was Twally attempting to make the tackle.Of course nothing ever came of it.Am I being a little one eyed here?
Twally will be back next year bigger/better and with extra features such as a a right and left foot step.😁
