Just went online to check out ticketing for trial match. $31.50 a ticket for members to sit in a seat same as what I’ve secured in my premium reserved membership. I realise it’s a double header but this stinks. Should be part of membership package. I can buy a much cheaper ticket but that’s not the point. I’d say this is an NRL thing rather than WT but this type of pricing for a trial is just garbage

Wow, for a trial? Used to always be free or gold coin donation type thing. They’re out to sting you at every opportunity today.

Seriously, just add it to my membership and then market it as free to members. I’m none the wiser and think I’m being looked after. It’s not hard! Now I feel like I’m being ripped off. Again, because it’s a double header I’m guessing this is an NRL initiative but whoever has done this, they will cop flack for sure

All trials should be played in non NRL teams/ areas

The game seems so determined to drive the game from country and rural areas

That is not the way members should be treated. It sucks

Ridiculous. You will likely only see the first grade side for half an hour

What annoys me about this is the majority of members have pledged their memberships for the past 2 seasons despite only being able to attend around half the games. To be slugged $32 for a trial after that is a bit unfair in my opinion.

It's pretty obvious. Take them to areas to grow the game.

So you think they should charge more as you don't have to watch them plod for 80 min? Might see some talent?

@kiwitiger Good point. The membership covers watching the same hacks run around week to week.
