As an example- Daine Laurie has been appalling this year, massive 2nd year syndrome but he is still very raw.In a decent team he would probably be playing wing or centre until the veteran FB moved on.

With this youth policy, a lot of them are going to be thrown into the deep end, I am afraid that we all better get use to some very hot and cold performances from the young guys. Same with Simpkin, he will do well with a couple of years behind Korisau

I'm not sure Daine isn't in the I want out of the WT's syndrome ......it is more contagious than the newest version of Covid

I see your point ...but I also want to see what happens to our defence against the better sides when we can hang onto the footy and complete our sets at 75-80 plus % 

If we haved fixed / repaired our defence and we have a bit of talent coming back that can help us score more points ...why not stick with him 

the 1st thing that goes in uncommitted footballers is your D .....
