Good answers guys and whilst I do agree, I guess I haven't got much faith in the higher ups being able to identify and keep the young guns. I can see us keeping a thrashed out Klemmer and losing a Pole, then he going on to kill it.

One thing Sheens does have is a record of bringing through youngsters, he has done it is whole career. Hopefully that is a skill he still has.

In memory of Geoff Chisholm (1965-2022)

Got a feeling I know Tallyn Da Silva‘s old man having grown up in Eaglevale. If his old man is indeed who I think it is, no wonder the kid is a handy footballer.

All the Da Silva boys knew their way around the footy field.

I like reading tigers content but I find it weird when the club puts out these tigers juniors articles. These guys are kids and everything will need to go right for them to end up genuine career NRL players. Are we the only club that does these articles? Are we just telling other clubs which players to poach?

I understand the sentiment in your post, but I think these young guys will get a thrill seeing their names mentioned in the mainstream press. They'll know and likely appreciate that WT is promoting them. Small things like this, if done well and often enough, could help our retention prospects down the road.

Sheens reckons he’s as good as any youngster he’s seen.

@helmesy Sheens must have stolen Benji’s book of quotes. That’s his favourite line.
