Keen to see how To’a goes this season. Might start the year in reserve grade but he 100 percent has the talent to play first-grade.

We seem to have a fair bit of depth in the backs at this stage, I wonder if he might start in reserves at fullback.

Do you think he’s an option for centre? Definitely no certainties there. I reckon centre is open for whoever puts their hand up in the trials.

@tigersteve coming in later to the pre-season, it might be harder for him to get a spot. I think Gildart will start on the left edge so that right edge is up for grabs. My tip would be Kepaoa but he’s coming off an ACL injury so it should be interesting what Madge goes with.

Got to be Roberts doesn’t it? Or maybe Tupou?

I think the centres are a dead set lucky dip. If Kepaoa is fit, he should be one of the first picked.

Gildart is interesting. I hope for the best but the recent records of outside backs coming from the UK is terrible, and from the photos I have seen his size is a concern

@helmesy Roberts I could see but Tupou is young so I expect him to play a few games in reserve grade and maybe debut at the end of the year.

I wonder if Sheens sees him as a bench utility.

Yeah, i think we are that desperate we have to start Peachey in the centres, I don't know what to do with the other spot so would reserve a decision until after the trials.

In memory of Geoff Chisholm (1965-2022)

I think Peachey has to play 13.

I think the modern game dictates this and ideally I reckon that’s why we got him. But the reality of our situation may force him to the centres with Twal or Seyfarth playing lock

Hopefully Gildart or Roberts or To’a maybe do something special freeing up Peachey for 13
