Would be great if we could offload Brooks. Madden would have been ready to step up if it wasn’t for Covid. He was killing it in state cup earlier in the year.
What have we got two spots left? We need at least 1 centre in that lot and not a second rower who can play centre like Sheens wants.
I can't go into the season with a Hastings/ Madden combo, that is an injury to Hastings away from a Madden/ Peachey combo and that is scary.

I don't mind him coming off the bench, that would certainly help him. But at full strength where does he fit in? Assuming Brooks and Doueihi are the halves and you still have to fit Hastings and Peachey in.

For sure, but we were always longshots. I still think there's a chance we'll get Hodgson before round 1. I don't have any info, I just don't think him staying at Canberra is the desirable outcome for him or the Raiders.

Its possible that Raiders are waiting to see what happens with Starling in his legal matter before making a decision on Hodgson (makes sense).

Good for the game as a whole. Was really wondering about how competitive Easts would be this year.
@kiwitiger Walker is a fair liability in defence though . And thier pack is a year older . And for some that’s not a good thing . Front rowers tend to fall off a cliff when they get to that 1 season too long.
2024 seems like they are setting up for that year .
