@geo-2 let's not get too carried away. Take out Monday's game (where he was very good) and he's been appalling. If he plays awful on Saturday what will you say?
Here is a rumour I heard from a physio at cronulla who knows some info at the knights. He thinks Ponga is definitely going to Dolphins and Munster to fullback at Newcastle. Interesting if true
Hopefully true, and then we go all in for Reese Walsh.
should the Tigers look at Signing Munster in 2024 as a 6
To do that however you move on Brooks and Adam Douhie
I say move them both on to secure Munster for 2024

Nek minut....
@barra my mail badly wrong there
Its a shame, Walsh would have to be odds on to be going to Dolphins now. I was hoping that we would have a good crack at him.
With the last 2 wins, where does this leave us with re-signing Madden?
It's only 2 games but it does make it an interesting situation. I'd like to re-sign him but would be be happy to if he is still number 3 or 4 in the pecking order?
@canberratiger I would love to keep him but it will be hard for him to get a look in when we are fully healthy. Wouldn’t be surprised if he went to the Bulldogs.
Need to be careful about releasing decent players - we've already used 22 players and its only R7
SMH reporting tonight that we’re considering buying Jack Bird.
Says we’re having a recruitment meeting this week to decide if we’re going to continue pursuing him.
He wants a three year deal, Dragons only offering two.
They are still chasing Cronulla back-rower Briton Nikora, while Luke Garner is off contract and has attracted interest from Penrith for next season.
While Bird can play in multiple positions, the Tigers - if they decide to offer him a deal - see him as a back-rower.
As reported by the Herald last month, the Wests Tigers are playing around $600,000 under the salary cap this year and are also paying around $400,000 on top of that as part of an agreed deal for Moses Mbye to play at the Dragons.
The club believes it is short on outside backs, which has been compounded by the knee injury to fullback Daine Laurie that will see him miss the next four to six weeks.

Pretty amazing when you think about it. I wonder if there’s any chance of nabbing someone mid year?
