Seriously, Twal makes the 17 in every single team in the NRL easily. I don't know what more the guy needs to do. He doesn't miss any tackles, can play 80 minutes if needed, and has significantly improved his attack to the point where he is our most consistent go forward man. The guy is a beast and a must have in our team. Even before he improved his attack he showed how important he was whenever he was out injured the last few years. Every game he missed we got dominated through the middle. His defence is incredible and his attack now is very good. Machine.

agree every team needs that Twal type of player

No I can’t. He’s the sort of player who looks good on paper statistically but his impact on the game tells a different story. Happy for him to move on.

All of our Coaches (yes there has been a few) love Twaly. I reckon they know a bit more about the game than the Neville's who bag him. So perhaps the Neville's should move on.

Are these the coaches that have all been sacked and never had us playing finals? They sound like good judges.

Could not disagree more. I actually think your more wrong on this then any opinion I have ever read on either forum. But hay, that's just me. How you can't see what Twal is doing is mind boggling mate. He is punching through the opposition middle with ease and landing on his front. Works his ass off and doesn't miss tackles. That's huge impact in a positive way.

He is the only forward who looks like making a break. I'm speechless...well not really, but you get my point.

Absolutely and wholeheartedly agree with you Doug. I’m mystified by the hypercritical nitpickery levelled at Alex Twal.Misdirected and way off in my opinion.

With genuine respect, I think you are mistaking Twal this year with Twal every year previous. Im confident you will come around to my way of thinking. Twal is one of the relatively few beneficiaries of this years coaching (Seyfarth, Pole are others).

Right now I would suggest he is almost Finucane like.....(tackles his arse off, doesnt miss many and still makes 100m with some pace in the middle).

@tiger5150 perhaps I will in time, but at the moment that’s how I see him. I was watching him pretty closely at the game yesterday - I’m not seeing what you guys are
