So hunt to broncos as a 9 and 7 backup and madden to tigers for the residual of 2023 seems like a pretty plausible outcome next week.
brooks will be back in a few weeks so looks like we could run a madden/brooks combination for the last few months of the competition.
in the unlikely event Lee and Pascoe don’t stuff it up, I’d hope Fainu would be playing 6
in first grade? In 2023?

Absolutely. If he’s not already miles better at 6 than Wakeham and To’a he’s not worth getting.

Thats the rumour/report - Dragons and Broncos apparently sorting it tomorrow.
Wests Tigers Podcast - Talking everything Wests Tigers!
jeez they might win the comp with Hunt Reynolds etc
That would be the plan.
In memory of Geoff Chisholm (1965-2022)
Definitely wish Hunt was coming our way but I just can’t see how the dragons would allow it given we’re both in danger of winning the spoon. I’m thinking he heads up north, either Brisbane or the GC. I’d be happy with that young Manly 5/8 & Cogger, Brooks re-signing at a reduced price wouldn’t be too bad to partner either.
From Danny Weidler:
Luke who’s in mix
The Sea Eagles have put a three-year deal in front of Josh Schuster, but they also have an interest in Luke Brooks.
Sea Eagles coach Anthony Seibold is said to be a fan of Brooks and there is a feeling he would work beautifully with Daly Cherry-Evans. It is unclear if Brooks is seen as a back-up plan should Schuster be lured to Brooks’ current club, Wests Tigers.
With Cherry-Evans such a dominant halfback, Brooks would be able to bounce around as a running player. The option is only in the planning phase at this point.
