In some bright news for the Tigers, the younger brother of Manly hooker Manase Fainu was given a tour of the club's facilities on Tuesday.
Sione Fainu is a 20-year-old prop who played for the NSW under-18s side in 2019.

The Wests Tigers are interested in signing Sione Fainu — the younger brother of Manase.
Reports have been circulating for last week about the possible club switch, but it seems their chase has taken the next step with AAP’s George Clarke reporting Fainu toured the Tigers’ facilities on Tuesday morning.
The 20-year-old prop/lock is a part of Manly’s Top 30 this year but his contract expires at the end of the season.
He is yet to make his NRL debut but had a taste of New South Wales Cup last season despite still being age-eligible to play Jersey Flegg.

Sounds like there is a bit of an influx of players next year.
It should be a priority to remove any player with a poor attitude that sets a bad example. No matter who they are. I would rather have a bunch of hungry, energetic losers for the next while than to have toxic deadwood that jag a win here or there.

Not particularly excited about Fainu. To be blunt he looks like the typical young big polynesian forward coming through, looks to lack conditioning. I have a voice at the back of my mind wondering why Manly let a young kid go.
Pele & Nikora are first grade tested and would be good pick ups if at some sort of value (knowing that we have to pay overs to get talent).

Agree! They'd go a long way to helping rectify our issues - not solve it, but go a ways towards that.
