@helmesy big yes from me depending on how much money he wants. Can fill in the centre position but also in the halves and in the forwards.

Yes agree with that,he definitely covers a lot of options but not on marquis money.Could be a great acquisition if he can find injury free continuity.

@tiger-symmetry also the kind of unorthodox player that Tim sheens gravitates to

@declan you could then throw one of Peachey or jack bird at centre or lock it solves an issue for 2023

What's been going on with our development player scouting? It's been off for a number if years - we seem to commit way too early.

Our best Juniors by far are:

Rua

Dias

Dillon

We have OKane, Tumeth and Saukuru- none of which played in tonight trial.

If we are building from within, we need to get this right

Top 8 2023

“But, I’m keeping an eye on the Wests Tigers, I know for a fact the Tigers have money to spend and spend now.

“They have a hole in the centres, and they’d prefer to sell that dream to Jack of, ‘Come play in the centres for us instead of the back row’.

“So, I’m keeping an eye on the Tigers in that space as well.”

Well he is a utility player and we LOVE utility players

ITs a no from me. We have Peachey already filling the "utility at the end of his useful playing career" spot.

Centre is a weakness but was pleasantly surprised with Gildart & Roberts last night. With TT to come back it might not be as bleak as I thought and I think we can aim higher than Jack Bird for other spots that we need.

And I though ToA looked pretty good as well.

When healthy and in form Bird is a quality player, better than any centre we have imo. However, it's been a while since he's been healthy and in form.

I think a similar player we will see joining the tigers is Briton Nikora. Buzz’s column today refers to Tigers talking to a shark and I’m convinced it is Nikora.

@boonboon let’s hope so. Quality player and would be a great replacement for Luciano.
