I was there watching it live. It would have to be one of the worst performances I have ever seen. Poor kid he lost lost confidence and it kept getting worse and worse for him.

I agree we need a half desperately but those fullbacks are also a shallow list. Bula is untested at NRL level and has a bit of pressure from the fan base already.

@tiger5150 I think St Helens will want an 800k transfer fee to release welsby. That payment is the transfer fee and is not on the cap like Batemans 250k transfer fee.
As far as a salary goes I think he would demand anywhere from 850k to 1 million a year in nrl.
But where do you pluck $800K from?
