To me, this constant poaching of players by the glamour clubs is the biggest blight on the game. It is causing a lot of people to lose interest.
There is no way they are playing by the rules. If they somehow are, then the system is broken.
The scary thing in all this is the market is going to be so much more volatile having an extra team looking to set up for 2023 ....we won't have a choice in paying overs for Stefano to sign him

Probably depends on where his engine is now at .....if he is at 60 minutes a game I'd say market value is 500-600 k allowing for some extra growth in his game ...I reckon we may need to offer close to 700 for get him

Yeah, that was exactly what I was asking, I'm really interested in how you value him. I was thinking about this yesterday.
I was thinking we have him already for the next 2 years, I'm guessing at around $300-350k. If we upgrade him to $600k for those 2 years and the a deal for 3 after that at around the $750-800k, you would have to think that would be a fairly attractive offer and it puts him in a much better financial position for the next 2 years that no one else can really offer him.

Yeah, I have seen that, but I don't think he mentioned rounds. He said he didn't know exactly when "but should be somewhere in the middle of the front end of the season, I hope" I think other people have attributed rounds to that quote.

Agreed, but if weaker or less “well resourced” clubs can’t compete it’s going to end up a six club comp.

Outside of looking closer to determine that they are real TPAs, I don't really see what else you can do.

@tigerlily very happy with this. A creative 13 is so important in the modern game and it’s great to see a local junior succeed at the club. Really hope he does well because not too many from the Magpies have in recent seasons.

Fingers crossed that he and Brandon Tumeth (hopefully we extend his contract as well) turn into something special for us.
How can you not be excited for the future of WestsTigers with the plethora of potential Jnrs we have at this club at the moment.
