It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if Doueihi has played his last game in our colours.

I would be surprised if he was here next year. I get the impression Sheens doesn't rate him at all.

Can only see him being released if we have a half coming in, otherwise we would have kept Madden.

We thought that about Hastings too. I think Sheens is the sort of guy who doesn't want someone there if they don't want to be there (except Brooks).

Yeah I know I did, but that's my point, we are already much too skinny in the halves, how can we let another guy go who can play in the halves without a replacement?

On the surface I agree, but I think Sheens is working on something.

That something would need to include another half if we are looking at releasing AD.

the only thing I can think is that Sheens was never planning on playing him in the halves, and has something up his sleeve..

Why is Brooks still here? It’s his pace and Sheens has acknowledged this. I don’t think you can effectively play ‘Sheens ball’ with a Doueihi in the halves, not just because of a lack of pace, but a lack of a passing game.

He’ll go - 100%

Id be disappointed if Douiehi goes, but he isnt a half/fiveeight. If he is going to go we obviously need to recruit well from outside.

I'm ambivalent about Douiehi. I would like to see him behind a strong pack where he has more time. But he isn't quick. If we can find a genuine half back - Moses, Williams - then I would be ok with him going, with Brooks moving to 5/8. But we really do need someone there as a replacement FIRST.

A better outcome for the Tigers would have been an AD/Klemmer swap. But obviously the Knights wanted a proven 7.

@helmesy play big , win big lol I just think big aggressive five eighths translate extremely well to the back row.
at the very least you have a Curtis sironen on your hands . Which is fine . The ones that don’t work are the Campese , Anasta types , who weren’t that aggressive to begin with .

I'd pay for your petrol.

I know its not happening, but if Schuster got fit, he would be exactly the lock we would be looking for.

See DT today has west tigers best line up 2023 with Bateman in the second row

These blokes have no clue, the same flogs that kept changing Brook's salary and writes stupid articles about Douhie salary and wanting to leave.

If brains were dynamite those DT journos would not have enough to blow there head off
