@helmesy this is a massive signing

Two quality players added for 2023, hopefully the two Bulldogs guys come over for 2022 and a deal for Leilua can be worked out.

Massive signing, spells the beginning of the end for Liddle though.

In memory of Geoff Chisholm (1965-2022)

100%

even the fact Sheens looked at B Smith swap for 2022 with Stef

that shows you they don't rate Liddle and simpkin is not ready in 2022

@jedi-tiger Re-signing Stefano is our biggest priority.

I agree, very interested to see how this affects Liddle in 2022

I don't think we can afford to let Liddle go for 2022, hopefully he shows up with the right attitude.

He should be playing out of his skin to show his worth.

It’s playing with fire when you have a player that isn’t eligible for inter-state games. Imagine if we had a finals game in Brisbane or Melbourne and he couldn’t play.

Well if we make the finals off the back of Api - then it's a great signing.

Remember he is signing for 2023, if there's still mandates going on then after the nation is 90% vaccinated with 3 shots, well something is wrong.

Also the NRL haven't mandated vaccines. The vaccination status of Api isn't confirmed and it's his own private matter - but if he isn't and the club are aware and happy - then let's all move on.

Agreed, but it doesn't always work like that.

Liddle seems like a guy who would struggle with confidence after the api signing.

Which is probably why we signed api. We need fighters

How does a mutual option work?

I understand a club option or player option work, but how does a mutual option work?

For example, of the player doesn't want to sign with us bit we want them to, what happens?
