The problem was he wasn't the leader and game manager we demanded he be. He's a running 6. He's an excellent first grade footballer but he's not a managing 7. He showed that again earlier this year.
I'm happy for him. He copped relentless abuse from media and fans. His strengths were constantly overshadowed by his deficiencies. Biggest problem imo was why our coaches kept trying to make him what he wasn't.

they got him and Moses around the wrong way from the start, always has been more of a runner

They will struggle to beat the rorters....Tommy is busted and he is the X factor....DCE and Brooks have been pretty ordinary last 5 - 6 weeks. They were lucky on the weekend, officials finally decided to penalize the Dogs so reed was not getting away with the crap he has been free to do all year, it really impacted his game.
