Obviously there’s a lot of talk about the mid-season review, but what do you guys think?

We’ll be talking about this on the Sunday Night Live show tonight at 8:30.

Bottom line is it’s a results based business and as harsh as it is the results have not been at this club for 3.5 seasons and can not continue.

Who are you appointing as coach who will get results? Knowing that the like of Cilardo and co aren't coming to us, under these circumstances

And how confident are you in resigning Hastings and AD who go on open market this November. Who both love madge, but could get more money from a higher placed team than us?

If it's about results, I'd like to see a plan how how we get results if we sack madge

Top 8 2023

Bottom line is we aren't 3 from 11 if it wasn't for the injuries we've had thus year.

Does a new coach fix that?

It depends if the right decisions would have been made around where everyone plays. If we had of ran with a Brooks/ AD halves pairing, it may not have been a lot better, these are the decisions that we need to get right and we don't always do that.

Flanagan inherited a team worse than us, got them to top 8 within 2 years and never missed the 8 again while he was coach…

Madge has initiated some good things at the club, culture change and pathways to name two but these things take time to bed down. The question is, does the board have the luxury of time to be patient or do they need to be seen to be proactive? I sense the latter.

We’re 3 from 12 and last night was our strongest line up all year, yet our weakest performance. At the end of the day our injured players aren’t really world beaters, AD the exception.

The board has all the time in the world, they are at no risk.

Not defending him as a person, but he’s a good coach. Much better than Madge.
