In a perfect world, I would love to sign a backrower but there’s no doubt that Rua deserves a roster spot. Hopefully we can upgrade him but also release someone to free up another spot.
I said yes but it really depends if we are chasing someone else. If not then he is a definite yes from me. I think he has shown enough to be given the opportunity.
I voted yes but wouldn't be surprised if he was upgraded from a train and trial to a development contract..in the meantime

Would look at the development or other upgrade option though so no one else can pinch him. Another example of poorly planned recruitment with him, Api, Liddle and Simpkin all under contract next year.

They can play from Round 1 only if the Club is covid affected.. not injury cover..
I like this guys heaps, lock him up so he cant be poached.

RUA is def a keeper
With Liddle out now 4-6 games, not sure if Simpkin can play full 80mins so opens up that bench spot for Rua.

I think of we add Rua along with Hastings it could completely change the character of our team.
We are a team of nice guys. We lack that competitiveness and killer instinct.
But I think Hastings and Rua can bring that competitive energy, which the whole team might feed off

I'm worried about the amount of expectation being place on Rua after 2 trials.
