Surely Royce, even not in tip top shape, adds something off the bench??

I’ve been saying this for a month at least. We tried to play grind it out footy with inferior players and expected somehow we could compete. We need to go back to the game plan we had in the first 8 weeks of the season.

our round 2 team was:

1 Bula

2 turuva

3 douhie

4 toa

5 skelton

6 galvin

7. luai

8 may

9 api

10 pole

11 sam Fainu

12 Seyfarth

13 twal

14 da silva

15 hunt

16 bird

17 Sione

Obviously we have some forced changes but I think our best squad is

1 Bula

2 turuva
3 may

4 toa

5 skelton

6 Latu

7. luai

8 may

9 api

10 pole

11 sam Fainu

12 Seyfarth

13 twal

14 douhie

15 hunt

16 hope

17 Sione

Hope starting worked better than playing either side of half time. He doesn’t have the impact that TDS has around the ruck so it’s not point bringing him on after 25min. Let Api do that after hope has absorbed 20min of defence.

Douhie to play some 13 or cover the back row/backline. I’m not in love with him at first receiver yet. I think Luai needs to go back to first receiver if we are a chance. Toa needs to have a much improved effort because his form dipped has killed out left side attack - Bula back will help.

hopefully we stay with them in the first 20 and hunt and rapi both can come on and we up the tempo.

I’m off Toa (obviously injured), Skelton, Doueihi, Twal, Seyfarth, Hope, and especially Pole.

@joel there is an arguement for pole to bench and Sione to start.
