Wests 28 Cows 20

WT's 30 Cows 16 .....Twal scores his 1st try from a Hastings grubber in the final minute sfter a long break from Garner from dummy half .....

Twal, not this week. He is saving it for Round 11 @ Leichhardt for his 100th game.

Like your sense of occasion Mike, and imagine the mound of Tigers’ bodies asphyxiating poor Twally when it happens.Still, wouldn’t mind seeing him break the drought this weekend and get a double at the Old Girl next week.

My concern is the cows kicking game. They will target Gillard at centre with bombs and Toa with grabbers when defending in the front line. We need our forwards to dominate keep the ball away from our 20m zone on cows last plays

Tigers16-10

Damn ...the reason I'm missing magic round has just been called off ...but then again the highway is cut so I probably wouldn't have been able to make it

Speaking of the rain up there, there are concerns the Suncorp pitch might be an issue given what the weather has served up and the extensive use this weekend - come Sunday night it might be a very rough track.

They had 2 inches yesterday until about 11pm ....and if what we have been getting since midnight is heading down that way ...Sunday will be a problem ....gotta remember the soil must be pretty well heavy from the floods alone

If we turn up in terms of effort like we have done in the past few games,

Were in this with a decent shot on Sunday.

The points are coming.
