Ciraldo wont come to the Tigers and im not sure someone with not much head coach experience is right for the Tigers, plus i heard last year he was not keen at all..Wolfe is the one i like, great repour with the Tongan team, good success in the Super League and Sheens would have good info on him with his time in the Super League..this sounds rough, but if we get done badly on Monday, sack Madge and do a Cronulla, hire Wolfe, give him time to work on the roster he wants for next year

So Maguire is gone by Tuesday

Would anyone be keen on going for a left field option like Billy Slater or brad Fittler?

I didn’t think Ciraldo would leave the Panthers system but since Ivan has just recently extended his contract now may be the time for him to leave.

To the Tigers? No way. Gus Gould will be in his ear to go the the Bulldogs.

I’d make a BIG play for Bellamy. I don’t think has re-signed with Storm? Could be wrong. Sell it as a challenge to get the Tigers into the finals sort of thing. Pay him what he wants.

Realistically, we’ll probably get Flanagan.

Right now i'd take Flanagan.

Yeah he is a cheat. But that is because he wants to win. We need winners at this club. Sick of the lozer mentality.

Really worry about a unproven coach as we are at such a low ebb the job ahead feels massive.

Ciraldo is the pick, but he won't come here. Gould has him lined up for the doggies

Who is your preference at this point?

Maguire

Doesn't appear to be an option round here...

Did you see Maguire’s latest interview? Apparently “we just have” to keep working hard and this will transform us into one of the top sides because that’s what they do 🙄

Sorry to be boring but I'm still sticking with Madge.

He has the character and resilience this club desperately need.

I don't always agree on selections and tactics, but my view is we need him as our 'manager' as they say in England. If he needs help with tactics etc that's what assistant coaches are for. Plus he has Sheens for support also.

But we as a club need to stick solid. It's clear to me that the majority of the playing group we now have respect madge and want to play for him - particularly guys like AD and Hastings which are our future club captains.

We need to see this through. Hopefully over the next 12 months Shsens and Madge can balance and improve the roster, to give the team the chance if making the 8.

Top 8 2023

As far as coaches go he’s about as clueless as you’ll ever find.

How do you suggest we attract quality new players with the same coach doing the same things that keeps at the bottom the table?

He is not just a cheat,  he risked the health of players to win footy games, that is just unacceptable in my opinion. He also hasn't shown he is capable of learning from those mistakes.  I wouldn't want him anywhere near the club.

In memory of Geoff Chisholm (1965-2022)
