This is the most embarrassing thing I’ve ever seen. I’m sure the number 2 option will be stoked.

“The club has been contacted by Cameron Ciraldo and his management this afternoon and they have advised the club that he is not in a position to accept the role of Head Coach at this juncture in his career.

Whilst disappointing, we respect his decision, and we will continue with the selection process in appointing our club’s Head Coach.”

I might be done. This club is taking ineptitude to staggering new depths. My apologies to Mike who I have argued against when he has put all the blame at the feet of the board. SOMEONE has to be responsible for the garbage strategies of this club and YES, it is time for change at the top. The fact that they have sacked Madge, with no replacement lined up...the fact that they so publicly stated they were all in with Ciraldo with no reason for that confidence and bravado.

Im actually staggered and devestated, This club is stuffed. They will now go cap in hand to someone else. Who is to say if Morris or someone else actually will say yes to us? What is stopping Morris holding out for a better gig after the public way the Tigers have made him an afterthought.

The Tigers have actually strategically ensureed that our next coach is one who will not have any better offers and take us as last resort. Bravo.

Shattered.

Now we look really stupid. Anyone who joins will know he’s second choice.I don’t know why the club feels the need to tell the whole world our plans.

I hope we now keep it in house until we actually sign a coach for next.

I hope we look at Woolf.

Just for the record, I’m barely fussed about missing out on him, I’m the total opposite on the fact that we were inept enough to show our hand. If there could be a vote of no confidence, now would be the time.

Absolute incompetent management. Lee, Pascoe & Sheens should go. What a joke.

Spot on. There was no need to say anything at all. Gould is out there saying he’s never thought about the coaching position, while we’re talking publicly and releasing statements. Pascoe, Lee and the board are just a bunch of egotistical idiots that put themselves above the club.

now that we’ve missed out on Ciraldo expect the development coach narrative to change.

I feel for you but I can’t say I am surprised at what happened. It’s on par with the history of the club’s management. Incompetence, just add one more to the mismanagement list.

Spot on. So who’s now going to be the panic choice? I reckon Flanagan will be getting a call.

No one wants to be second choice. They’ll probably give it to kimmorley.
