Simpkin is not the finished product yet but we can use 2022 for development for him and come 2023 hopefully he has 30 plus games under his belt and ready for 2023 as backup to Api

This is certainly going to throw a spanner into the works. Selection will be interesting as it'll be likely Peachy will need to spend some time at 9, which means someone like Twal spends time at 13, which might be tricky now that Tamou is suspended...

Or we just upgrade Rua and play him at back-up to Simpkin, which would be the least disruptive and probably most effective solution.

Give Liddle proper recover time and by then Rua or Simpkin should be ok to stay on the bench.

BTW, if your'e going to do a knee ligament the PCL is the one to do. Usually it's an impact injury though. I didn't see how it happened?

Not upgrading Rua will be the first of many stupid mistakes we make this year unfortunately.
