Leichhardt Oval is reportedly getting up to $60 million in state government funding. What do you think the ground needs most?

Surely an additional stand at northern end with corporate facilities. Upgrade toilet and food amenities with the change.
60 million won't go far .....If you start messing with Grandstands you lose the facade / beauty of the old girl .....Food Outlets .....ask the Colonel .....KFC and Taco Bell ......

From a development approval point of view, I think they would have a very tough time cutting down the old Figs at the northern end of the ground.
I think an important improvement not mentioned is the drainage. When it rains the outer areas become a quagmire, which is just not acceptable.
Unless $60m buys a two storey grandstand that runs all along the eastern side then don’t bother wasting the money. A half baked approach will ruin the ambience of the ground.
Sorry Leichhardt oval is a dead end .. great for local sporting and community use a lot of wasted money to be spent there ! Nothing changes the fact that at that ground the majority of the supporter base is Locked out .
Looks like Campbelltown has had the chop the club would of been apprised of this funding as it directly applies to them .
it will be interesting to see some of the supporter base when people were chanting for 8 games at campbletown and 3 at Leichardt.
I wonder how some would cope with 8 LO and 3 campbletown games per year.
Personally upgrade LO but we need to be doing a 3 and 3 split with CS, do not forget one paet of your family over another very dangerous regardless of whether that be Macarthur or inner west
Hopefully this Leichardt Oval funding puts this full time move to campbletown back in its box, Realisation it is either a split or nothing, you can't just move a team to one area permanently, Dragons don't do it they have kogarah and woollongong.

I agree with your point that one suburban ground cannot have more games than the other. Personally, I would go with a 2 and 2 split with 6 at either Accor or the SFS.

I dont think 2 at either ground is enough. The club offers memberships exclusively for these grounds and I think a lot wouldnt bother for just two games.
@eastiemagpie it was interesting that before a Leichardt upgrade many fans were happy with a game campbletown plan with 4 at LO
I don't know what the answer is I guess a 3 and 3 split and the balance at SFS or Accor

I think the aim would still be to get to a 8-4 split of something similar.

Whilst I’m not in favour of using the suburban grounds for most of our home games, this approach will give a good indication if enough fans will come out to make it commercially viable to stage games at these venues.
