Well done to Steve, Garry, Joel, Eddie, Declan and all the pod guys who made this happen and the 2000 odd fans who signed. Its an endorsement of the power fans have when they go about things the RIGHT way and not just yell and scream taht nothing can be done.

A low key congratulations to the Club for listening and acting as well.

Yeah, the club should definitely be congratulated for the way they’ve been open to this concept. Very heartening to see that there is an acknowledgment that things might not be working as well as they could be.

This is really good news and well done to all involved. Does anyone know the background of Tony Crawford and Gary Barnier or be able to muse about why they were chosen?

I’ll wait for 2 things:

just how far the review goes

If the club will act on the findings.

Is this a full review of the club? Did I read this is more a financial review of the club?

Great stuff guys, thanks for all the work in getting this organised. But let's see how far reaching the review goes and how they act on the results!

On a side note, I'm glad they're going after a highly experienced football manager, even if Parr said no.

Thanks guys for voicing the concerns of many. I appreciate the sacrifice you made, because of the relationship with the Club that was likely strained because of your fight for change.

Hope we get the transparency we are all seeking and ultimately we all can follow a successful Club.

A massive congratulations to Steve, Garry, Joel, Eddie, Declan and everyone who has supported the petition!!!!

🥳🥳🥳🥳

Absolutely amazing result!

Just goes to show when you are constructive and respectful.

A big day for the club - hoping it leads to significant and long lasting change at the upper levels of the club.

Thank you for all the support guys and thank you to everyone that signed the petition. I believe this is a positive step forward.

Obviously we hope that this is truly an independent review and genuinely finds the problems and makes the corresponding recommendations which we hope are taken up by the club. The obvious change that many will want is the CEO & Chair, but the change Im hoping for is an increase in genuinely independent board members and generally an increase in high level business and football knowledge.

Congrats to all involved in organising the petition, those who signed it, and getting it tabled with the ownership group. Kudos, too, to those who organised the Pascoe Fiasco banners at Manly for the last round. Who knows how independent the review will be? But the club is on notice that more of the same in 2024 will not be accepted from members and fans.

"Chief executive Justin Pascoe and chairman Lee Hagipantelis have consistently come under fire in recent years off the back of poor on-field performances."

These are the guys that announce 5 year plans and then change their minds.

Examples are the Sheens and Madge coaching early exits

I really hope that they clear the entire board, chairman and CEO. These people can apply again if they wish. How members are appointed to the board and term length really needs to be a big consideration. If something I note comes out of this review I’ll consider my membership for next year, if it’s “there’s nothing to see here” type outcome I’m done.
