I’m with Gary and was going to say something similar. Without knowing the reason it’s hard to judge. He may be a very legitimate reason, it may be something a bit ordinary. We will never know
Don't know the reason Pascoe couldn't make it but article says prior commitment - rather than family reasons or illness.
So if it's another work commitment - it means Pascoe has prioritised that other commitment over this.
Given all the other CEOs are there, I can't imagine another work commitment which should Trump this meeting which is only a couple of kms from his office.
To me it's a lack of judgement.
Also, if you are sending a delegate, surely they could of gone in person? Not zoomed in?

I don’t know who is in the right or wrong but I do know that Hooper has an almighty grudge against Pascoe and uses every opportunity to absolutely give it to him. Hooper is a grubby journalist who personally attacks those he has an issue with. I wouldn’t read too much into it. In fact if it’s written by Hooper I’d suggest we don’t read it at all!!

There's reasons to be annoyed by Pascoe, and then there's this. It's just shit flinging by Hotdog, serves no purpose for anyone. Imagine if someone died and Pascoe was at a funeral, or his Mum is in palliative care, or he's helping someone with chemo... I mean none of that is our business and it makes no difference to anyone in public if he attended this meeting or not.
I want to know why Broncos CEO Dave Donaghy wasted time and money flying down from Brisbane when the Warriors CEO wisely chose the low-cost Zoom option for attendance.

Hooper really is scum, always has been, it annoys me very much that Foxtel have decided to increase his profile by adding him to match commentary. It was bad enough after they started putting his stupid head on TV. It was bad enough having people quote his rantings from the paper.
