We need a single entity that's truly invested in only the Wests Tigers, down to grass roots. End the 'joint venture' era totally.
HBG weren't that, aren't that and never will be that!!
Spot on, the crux of all the issues was a small handful of powerful people (not given power by performance but through an antiquated protection racket) who’s heart isn’t in Wests Tigers.

@joel The job is done the coup was successful.. Burgess will be opening a bottle of champagne tonight with the rest of his debenture mates and celebrating there victory! The club has been trashed and is in a much worse state now than 2 weeks ago .The stake holders have been thrown a few crumbs and lucky they got that ! I will have my say at the club tomorrow…
@joel This has not been a joint venture for years how is a 90/10 split equate to a joint venture.. the wording joint venture is false the club needs to be sold to be a united entity !
IMO the Wests Tigers needs to move on from ANY joint venture situation. We need a single entity that's truly invested in only the Wests Tigers, down to grass roots. End the 'joint venture' era totally.
HBG weren't that, aren't that and never will be that!!
Barra please excuse the "french" but... Far Ken Oath!
We have been Wests Tigers for 25 years... yes we can respect the past clubs... but that is all.
We are Wests Tigers!!!
And, Vlandys seems to be ok with that.We need a single entity that's truly invested in only the Wests Tigers, down to grass roots. End the 'joint venture' era totally.

@snake 'joint venture' does not mean equal parts in the venture... just two or more parties combining. The best future is with a single entity owner IMO, although a 'united entity' might work.
And I don't think Burgess will be popping champagne tonight, now that he has had to resign from the WT Board, and likely more heat will continue to come his way.
Anyway, I'll see you there tomorrow mate.
We don't know that PVL is okay with that, any more than we know exactly what was discussed, what was threatened, what was agreed upon. And, Vlandys seems to be ok with that.We need a single entity that's truly invested in only the Wests Tigers, down to grass roots. And we still need to rally, to make sure the NRL know we are not happy with it.
@joel now burgess will manipulate from the shadows of the HBG Board sadly
And, I hope @barra and others that the messaging tomorrow is clear and concise; that all of us who are at the rally tomorrow are there because we do not believe the governance model of HBG is fit for the purpose of ensuring stability and success for WT NRL club into the future. Every other outcome that could inspire some confidence has already happened as a result of PVL/NRL intervention.
I assume it will be Darcy Bryne coordinating events tomorrow? It needs to be someone of his political nous to galvanise the campaign beyond tomorrow, because tomorrow's rally, of itself, is not likely to change anything beyond what has already happened over the last 48 hours.
Tomorrow is the day all Weststigers Brothers and Sisters at the rally stand and be heard after years of emotional turmoil caused by the HBG…it’s YOUR club it’s your time to be HEARD !!!
Mielekamp is a good leader of people, and wouldn't hate it if he ended up as our CEO. But it'd mean we had a serious dearth of football experience/knowledge at executive level. We now have no specific head of recruitment, and no GM of football.
We need some good candidates in these positions to ensure our pathways are well run, as well as getting our senior teams up to scratch.

Shaun will get the job permanently I think.

amazing that the other forum is down on the morning of the rally. Will be interesting to hear from Kul if it was a ddos attack...
Hats of to everyone putting up a fight against HBG. Thank you @joel. Its disappointing to hear so many weak people amongst us that just want to roll-over and take it from behind.
