I'm guessing if it is done than Richo would want to announce at a time where it would get maximum impact. TBH if I were Galvin I would hold off until we are a few weeks in, and I could get a good feel for the team and direction. Perhaps Luai has come in and shown him what a real half looks like and Galvin has realised he still has some learning to do before he can justify the big $$ and big expectations that come with it. So extend by a couple of years in a team that has a dominant, experienced half where you can play second fiddle before you step up to the main role.
