@daniel67 Totally agree. Will end up decent but not Tedesco or even Moses good. I still think latu will have the better career if he can stay on the field. Both of them are still a few years away from lighting it up, but the last few weeks have shown Galvin has a looong way to go.
Trade him to Parra and get Josh Lynn and Will Latu for him. Trade him to the Bulldogs and get Cassius Tia and Jack Todd in return.
Jack Todd looks like a good forward
Galvin needs to spend a few weeks in NSW Cup, if not permanently.
permanently, it's pointless persisting with him. Latu and then api and Mason if needed.Galvin needs to spend a few weeks in NSW Cup, if not permanently.
out at the game galvin is the new whipping boy... nobody mentions how poor Luai was
If you look at our attack in the 20, it looks like we have reverted to 2024, no 2nd rowers or centres running a decent line. Luai was often left with no options as there were no bodies in motion to create space. You can tell he was getting frustrated. When they did run a decent block play and he straightened the attack to create space the pass from Galvin was either not thrown or off the mark. He has checked out, luai is also putting a massive effort in defence whereas the other half is high fiving the players as they pass him.

I don't think Galvin has checked out, but he makes bad decisions and can't execute consistently.
I still think he is only putting in 75% at most. one example he was always running through in support when our team made a break, on Sunday he was nowhere to be seen when Api made his 2 breaks, and it has been the case almost all year.If you look at our attack in the 20, it looks like we have reverted to 2024, no 2nd rowers or centres running a decent line. On reflection,I think teams have worked him out. They now know how to block him and where he is likely to run. I think the effort is there but there is a definite smell of second year syndrome. We may have dodged a bullet here.
While not entirely dogging it, it seems clear to me that the 100% effort is no longer there. Mentally I think he has checked out already. On reflection,I think teams have worked him out. Didn't I read somewhere that the board was supposed to be meeting this week to discuss the whole Galvin situation and his future?
I'm guessing the board have to rubber stamp Richo giving the go ahead for other teams to make an offer for Galvin as it is something that will obviously create a bit of noise in the media and have an impact on the club. I'm sure the usual media vultures are swooping around trying to get some inside info so its quite surprising that nothing has come out yet. Its likely he has already made a verbal deal with a team (or perhaps 2) and it will now be formalizing that. The dogs will not pay anywhere near what parra would offer however they are a proven team that are topping the table, the issue is how does he fit in there and where does he fit, it will also screw over the young kids they have coming through that have massive raps on them. I still think he ends up at Parra, its a perfect fit for him to play 5/8 beside Moses, he lacks a kicking game and speed, and they are both areas that Moses has easily covered, Parra's roster is not as bad as some people think and they will be competitive again fairly quickly.
If it’s about development as Galvin says I think should he end up at the Dogs he will not be going into first grade straight away. He’ll have to develop & earn a spot. But given he has a previous mentor there & a good mate in Flegg I think he’d be ok with it, He just didn’t want to play here.I'm guessing the board have to rubber stamp Richo giving the go ahead for other teams to make an offer for Galvin as it is something that will obviously create a bit of noise in the media and have an impact on the club.
