Justin Pascoe interviewed on ABC sport just now, re-iterating that the manager of Papali'i has confirmed he will definitely be with us.

There is now way out of this now @mike

Of course there is. Pascoe is a lightweight, means nothing. This still has a long time to play out.

I think you’re right Mike

He will be here.

In memory of Geoff Chisholm (1965-2022)

He will be here.

I 100% believe he will be here next season.

The question is what will his mindset be.

I think not mate.

The sheer weight of commentary supporting us that was in the media over the week leading up to his manager contact will go into overdrive. No one except Parra wants to see that.

Nobody else cares except us Wests Tigers fans. This has at least 5 months until he might be here in January, after the World Cup. Everybody else will have lost interest by then. He is looking for a way out and 5 months is a long time to find one.

Fox reporting Madge has met with Brad Arthur about an assistant coaching role at Parramatta next year. I’m sure you can all connect the dots on that.

We’ll be dragging IP kicking and screaming to the club in the off-season. Sometimes you’ve just got to do what you’ve got to do though.

Kicking and screaming it is then.

Sounds like he’s been vague about his future again.

The Parramatta star told News Corp about a self imposed deadline to make a call on his future as soon as Sunday’s grand final against Penrith is over.

“(Waiting to make a call) has worked for us. I’m definitely going to have to stick that,” Papali’i said.

“We are just focused on this year. I don’t want to be worrying about that in the biggest week of my career to date.

“But as soon as Sunday rolls over, I’m sure me and my agent will touch base as soon we can. So we can stop all the questions.”

Other rumour Kent said yesterday on nrl360 (I know) is wests tigers are getting Marata Niukore. Maybe he might have just made an error but maybe not

Interesting he is contracted to warriors for 2023

Could a swap be on the cards with monetary compensation from warriors Marata Niukore wanting to stay in Australia and IP wanting to go to N.Z. ?

i don't think we will get IP here in 2023

Can’t wait for this to be all resolved. Tbh I hope he doesn’t come. Gives us more money to throw at Munster. But we also need to get Niokora though.

@loganr21 I am 99% confident that Kent just made a mistake as Niukore confirmed he was going to the warriors a few weeks ago.

IP > Tigers

Niukore > Warriors

Niukore > Tigers

IP > Warriors?
