Just happy to have a home ground that’s not next to another clubs present or future leagues club.

I'd be happy with Campbelltown if the stadium got rebuilt.

So would I. I hope this means the Liverpool nonsense is dead and buried. Liverpool was the most ridiculous notion ever.

Liverpool was still mentioned in the article so I doubt it. It depends where the funding comes from.

Most Wests Tigers fans would back Campbelltown if the stadium was upgraded.

Would 8 games be enough to get some $s spent on Campbelltown Stadium? For such a booming area it seems odd that the stadium hasn’t grown or improved in basically a quarter of a century.

If it gets rebuilt then I would be happy to play all games there with maybe 1 or 2 at LO, it is a good point about the lack of improvements at the ground. The last major upgrade was done in the late 90s?

“Sources with knowledge of the internal discussions believe more games will be allocated to Campbelltown, possibly an 8-4 split, to capitalise on the booming population in Sydney’s south-west corridor.”

I’m ok with this. Maybe it will help us lobby government for more investment at Campbelltown stadium

it should be an even split of games between LO and CSS do not alienate one base over another it is not a good idea

Campbelltown also has plenty of residence with strong ties to other clubs that have move out that area, if it didn't work for Magpies pre merger and will not work now.

likewise just LO games alienates an entire section of our fan base

A split of grounds is not one home ground all an uneven split will do is drive a wedge further in one home ground debate.

just take Olympic stadium at homebush it will get some upgrades it will have the new big screen taking up the entire width of the goal end in time for women's soccer world cup

I know engineers are looking at other seating in the stadium at present, NRL has advised government they still need a large 80k stadium for GF and origin etc.

Bulldogs are sweating on Tigers moving out of area for games especially with COE and Concord. This is a chance to permanently eat into the Dogs moving forward and still retain ryde and balmain area and the south West

@jedi-tiger I’m from the Balmain side of the franchise and the reality is Leichhardt is not going to be modern stadium ever. For a modern club we need a modern stadium. I personally wouldn’t bother with the country game and wouldn’t give up a home game for magic round. 8 games at Campbelltown with the chance of a rebuild to share with the Bulls and 4 quality derby games at Leichhardt seems like a very good result in my mind

I have thought about all the options and changed my mind a million times.

But I think 8 - 4 split makes more sense than most other options now currently available

It's still not one home ground but better than 3

It strengthens our connection with our fan base - doesn't alienate anyone by selecting on home ground.

By having twice as many games in C'town is cements the outer west as the future of the club - which I think everyone agrees with

I was in favour of a professional new stadium, which could still happen in the future at either Ctown or Liverpool.

I liked getting the 30-50k crowds for Easter weekend derby v Parra at ANZ - which this option doesn't allow for

Agree Leichardt is aging but geez teams still use it, waratahs and Sydney fc were using it for awhile, amenities may be crap but it has character people still enjoy going there.

If we want to use a css and LO split then we need to magic round to help fund not having a big stadium.

Personally I think 3 at homebush 3 at LO and 4 at CSS

1 Tamworth and 1 magic round
