Anyone have any thoughts on why both LO and CSS don't have a major ground sponsor?
Could be great additional revenue - won't obviously pay for upgrade, but would go a long way to keeping the ground facilities to standard.
I have to begrudgingly agree with your point but……
I could never never never ever ever ever call Leichhardt Oval anything but Leichhardt Oval. Imagine walking into the old girl and being told “welcome to Brydens Stadium.”
You could put me in a box and nail it shut!

No one would expect you to call it anything except Leichhardt ...do you think Manly fans call their oval anything other than Brooky ...we can still call it Loservale lol
It’s a good point, you would think Leichhardt in particular would have real sponsorship potential.

Just on the Leichhardt potential and the power of the Tigers brand, have you noticed the latest KFC add where a bunch of supporters are in a garage watching a game? There’s about 6 supporters in shot. One has Penrith kit on - fair enough, they are the premiers. Three others at least have Tigers gear on! Not Storm, not Roosters, but the poor ol Tigers who can’t make the 8!! Imagine the power of our brand when we start winning consistently. It’s mind blowing when you think about it.

KFC does sponsor us, so I would hope to see us represented.

We have the potential to be the biggest NSW NRL club.

I think there's only 3 nrl ground's without naming rights - and we have 2 of them
Mt smart is the only other I can think of

And Mt. Smart was Ericsson Stadium for years.

Can’t see anything in the budget for LO or CSS
No funds for Leichhardt.

No LO and No CSS funding
a shame
Surely we are off to SFS
I still expect an announcement to be made regarding the LO upgrade, it is just not funded at this time, much like the Penrith Stadium upgrade was announced before funding was allocated.

Penrith stadium was mentioned in the budget papers as well as the ongoing cost of stadium australia and SFS upgrades (no mention of the roof on stadium australia). It’s possible there are further announcements ahead of the election next year but it doesn’t sound like there are any imminent investments coming to our home grounds
