Back in the 90s there was a major upgrade mooted and the plan was to build a stand up the northern end with corporate boxes and seating.

@helmesy I remember when that plan was in place, sorry meant the Northern end lol, remember they used to have demountables behind the goals at one point
we could wrap a stand going from Latchem Robinson around the northern in goal it would look good and provide some cover. Just not sure what 50 or 60 million will actually get us at LO
The brookvale COE/northern stand rebuild (3000k seats) cost $30m. The new 120m long screen at Stadium Australia cost less than $10m. Wests Tigers COE/rebuild of Concord with the north sports complex cost something like $70m. Surely for $60m there will be serious construction going on. I don’t understand how you could spend that much money without a full rebuild of the Latchem Robinson stand.

The Latchem Robinson stand is the most modern part of the ground 😆 does it need bulldozing?

I think you’ll have trouble trying to remove some of the trees from the northern end, which you would have to do as they overhang into the ground proper.
