@helmesy this is what I said on Saturday no roof at Accor no rugby world cup. This is the nsw government delay at present they need 120milliom to put the roof on and V'landys wants it all for suburban grounds

think the roof goes on Accor stadium souths move out we move in and battle with the dogs with our COE practically next door and play some boutique games at LO and CS

NSW needs an 80k stadium for big events would have though the roof should have been on SFS but anyway put it on Accor and we have a stadium, it worked for us in 2005

I’d still go Stadium Australia or what ever it’s called now as our home ground.

It may not be exactly what we want ATM but I guarantee it will get a big upgrade in 10 years or so.

If Leichhardt is getting $50M facelift then we play between SA and Leichhardt with COE in the middle.

We are 20 years down the rabbit hole we can't forsake one area we will lose them if we do tha tincture LO and CS

Basically rugby world cup vs 20 years of grand finals

Roof adds nothing to the ground for us.

I was at WIN stadium sitting in the Western stand last weekend. Was a great experience, quite steep and large (bigger than could fit at Leichhardt) and that cost $28m in 2010. You would hope $50-60m gets you a complete rebuild of the Leichhardt oval Western stand

I like it. Stadium Australia was our fortress for a while. It could be again.

it is moving with the times and having a large venue that can hold a number of events regardless of weather. It is not all a out V'Landys and rugby league it is about nsw attracting events

V'Landys will get the suburban stadiums and nsw get Accor with a roof it's a win win loser is campbletown I guess

A roof doesn't add one thing for Wests Tigers though and has no bearing on if we should play there.

In fact a roof now will probably prevent the ground from being redeveloped properly in the future.  I have no desire to see a roof put on.

Its about $50m

Who gets to decide what it is spent on and approves any design?

I’d like to get an idea of what $50m will actually build. If parra stadium cost $300m, then $50m won’t go far. Maybe a stand at the southern or northern end.
