The thing we should of had our act together earlier and had campeltown as the top priority suburban ground to be upgraded - given its got a NRL and soccer team playing out of it.
But our lack of commitment to the ground, either through lack of games or lack of strategic intent has meant that prenrith, Brooky and Kograh are all earmarked in front of Campbelltown
Political machinations have a LOT more to do with it than anything Tigers have done or not done.
I tend to agree with previous comments around Campbelltown not being the answer. We don’t draw consistently high crowd numbers there to be commercially viable moving forward. It would be interesting to know which venue brings in the most corporate $$$.

I think the ONLY way Campbelltown really works (ie Panthers comparison) is a lock, stock and barrel relocation there. With new C of E just built and Ashfield and Campbelltown clubs not being aligned I just don’t think it will happen. If we’re half-assing it out there the people of Campbelltown will never truly get behind the club and I don’t blame them one bit.

I guess same can be send a full move to campbletown and the people of Ryde and inner West can feel they can't get behind the team either
I think if they were going to go to campbletown then why on earth would you build a COE at Concord it should have been built around campblwtown but would not have worked at campbletown
we are 20 years in to a JV you can't just drop one area and expect supporters to continue we are too far down that road you need to be playing some whether that be 2 each at CSS and LO at least
The more I think about the more I think we just end up split 50/50 LO CSS or thereabouts. We are never going to give up on one area or the other and if there is no neutral venue that ticks all the boxes (SFS/ANZ) then we may as well just stick to our original homes and lobby for incremental upgrade. I was at WIN for the first time today and it was a great ground. We should just target an upgrade for both our homes, one grandstand at a time. 15-20k people at a full house is plenty particularly if you think that because we are splitting our games between the two regions we shouldn’t expect to have a 30k audience to the regional grounds.

LO has some funding coming in the next couple of weeks.

Anything meaningful or just new seats and a dunny block?
Around the $50m mark, so not a rebuild or anything but should be able to get some stuff done.

That would be going backwards and stunting any possible future growth. There won’t be any significant (useful) upgrades to either Leichhardt or CSS both grounds relics of last century.
We are asking the wrong questions to the wrong people. We should be asking the fans and corporates that are not going to games what facilities and game day experiences they expect and would get them there.

Knowing us, we get the $60 million spent on Leichhardt, announce a split between Leichhardt and Campbelltown, have a go at it for a couple of years, and then realize we need something more modern/more capacity etc. and go in another direction. This of course upsets and alienates the fan base just that little more and we end up where we could be with just one smart shift now.

Problem is that there isn't a smart option now, all options have significant issues that make them unsuitable from different points of view.

We cant keep doing the 50/50 split.
Upgrade LO in terms of facilities (Amenities, Change Rooms and corporate), however we need to Invest in the stadium that has the region with the most growth opportunities. That is CS.
A slightly smaller version of Parra Stadium is what we need.

I agree but my information is CSS isn't getting any funding.
